Little wonder that a solution to the problems in the Middle East cannot be reached when the two major players keep thinking more weapons, or more advanced ones are the answer.
Collateral damage has now become acceptable - to those not directly affected by it. The assignment of blame for injuries and deaths no longer rests on the firer, but on the targets and everyone else in the vicinity.
