| The target of this raid was Hassan Nasrallah. The IDF successfully kidnapped a man named Hassan Nasrallah and 4 of his associates. All were civilians. The BIG lie Israel made was that they got the wrong Hassan Nasrallah, and they never admitted it. This was a successfully executed mission. The IDF got their target. Embarrasingly though, their intellegence led them to capture the wrong man. Even more embarrassing is that they lied about it. I think the whole world would have chuckled, but ultimately would have understood the mission if Israel had been truthful. Now the whole world knows that the IDF are a bunch of liars. This compromises the IDF`s credibility in every future operation, just like the raid a couple of days ago. The world doesn`t believes 650 hezb. were killed. Or that arms smuggling is a big problem like Israel claims. This is a sure way to lose. |
