Effi Etam is a leader of a relatively small party - the "arab traitors" he is refering to have more seats than his party. It is part of living in a democracy that you have people who say things you don`t agree with, be that Bizhara or Etam. If Israeli arabs are currently choosing to waste their vote on a lying populists like the balad MKs who consider their responsibilites to be limited to having jolies round the world at their constituents expense, then parties like the labour party should see this as an opportunity to get some more votes.
PS As an MKs the balad MKs get paid by the state and are representatives of the state, if they really don`t want to be part of that "racist" state then don`t take the "blood" money. Think if a british MP had visited Hitler during the Battle of Britain and sung his praises. |
