Israel has never threatened anyone with annihilation. No one in any country believes that Israel will use its weapons first, and only in response to existential threats on its population. To other Middle Easterners who talk about double-standards: you first. Show us that you accept our presence fundamentally and existentially. To any Israeli dissidents: never again. Israel is the shtetl with the ability to fight back. When the world is a better place and the ugliness of nuclear weapons is no longer outweighed than that of annihilation, then Israel will give up its weapons. |
