After 60 years of "independence" Israel still cannot stand on her own feet. What with $2B of military aid, and $B more economic aid annually. For any other country in the world with a population of 5M, it would be ernousmously rich receiving such aid, but not for Israel.
The point is, unless there is peace with her neighbours, Israel will never prosper economically, and secure nationally. So long as Israel`s future leaders keep following the same line as the last 60 years, nothing will change.
Thus, be prepared for another 60 years of economic and military umblical cord from mother US. Question is, will US last that long???
We need to chart our own destiny and course, and stop being a tool of the US, fighting proxy wars in the ME shoring up dubious US foreign interests. |
