Is that what Bush is saying? `If you want to attack, we won`t stand on your way and we might even provide hardware but other than that you are on your own?`
Israel has the right to commit suicide if she wants to but to date I haven`t heard a single rational case for what the real threat would be even if they did acquire nukes. Pakistan has nukes and if you think they are more moderate than Iranians you are living in a dream world. They might have a leader that`s kissing up to DC today but the population is much more fanatic than Iran`s population. Plus, Iran using nukes against Israel would cause US to nuke Iran, not to mention the fact that in doing so they will be killing all the palestinians.
So, why is Israel pushing for war with Iran? I think the answer is simple. Israel doesn`t want any of the muslim countries it considers hostile to Israel to gain any type of political and economic clout because when they do, they will insist on Palestinian rights. |
