| Bush is playing "mind games" with Iran to combat the "mind games" that Iran has been playing. Unfortunately, America has the most to lose in any escalation. An armed response to Iran would make the Iraq disaster completely untenable. If Bush allows "shakey knees" in Israel to cost the lives of thousands of Americans, he will be reviled as the worst president in history. The fact that they are building monuments to him in Israel will not help. Look for the democratic congress to severly hobble any escalating war plans that Bush may have, by turning off the funding and crippling the American government rather than allowing the war to grow. |
