| Wow. THANK GOD this is finally passed. Israel is such a progressive country considering it was only born in 1948, and look at America, with Bush wanted to AMEND THE CONSTITUTION! Do you what that takes? The House, The Senate, and 2/3 of the STATES to ratify it. Finally, Israel (as others have already done) will show America how homophobic they really are. In terms of common law marriage, while the rights are not exactly the same, its at least a step in the correct direction, and its about time. The only acceptable forms of discrimination left in this world, it seems, are against fat people and gay people. And no one says a word about it.
