This article presented Stephen Murray with a dilemma: on the one hand, he despises the state of Israel (as can be evidenced by the fact that he spends hours each day demonizing Israel on a talk-back message board). On the other hand, he is a big supporter of gay rights.
Rather than acknowledging that this is a significant step for Israel (and one that not a single Muslim or Arab country has taken), Murray pretended in his post that this isn`t a big deal ("many countries" have done this, etc.).
He loves demonizing the Jews, but can`t praise them. His anti-Semitism trumps his liberal attitudes. Why is he so filled with hatred for Jews (the very hatred he abhors when it is directed at homosexuals?). |
