| Whether it was ineffective leadership in Bosnia and later Kosova, the total silence in the face of the killing fields in Cambodia, the withdrawal fo UN forces in Rwanda thus setting the stage for that genocide, the oil-for-food scandal or Darfur where he refused to call it genocide even as Colin Powell was saying that is exactly what it is. All during these events he keep the UN on a one-issue course which is to demonize Israel. The UN was no friend of Israel prior to Annan but the list of horrors ignore by the UN in so many parts of the world during his tenure makes his failure all the more glaring.
