| My dear Polybios, I`m afraid, if the International community had set the bar as high in 1948 as you do today, the state of Israel would never have seen the light of the day. With all due respect, but your expectation of a Palestinian super-democracy seems to be a little bit out of this world. By the way, I`m afraid the Palestinians could present Israel with an acceptance-wish-list either, for example: stop the illegal annexation of land, stop the corruption in your political establishment, stop the illegal holding back of Palestinian tax-money etc..... So if you are realistic, then you should shorten your wish-list to one point: Stop all terror-attacks against Israeli civilians and live on separated borders (more or less 67) in peace with us, even if it will be (at least in the beginning) a cold peace. |
