| Your comparison between the PA under Arafat, and HAMAS now, is way off. Arafat got to speak at the UN. Arafat stole Western & Eastern money - all without "selling out" what U call the interests of the Pals (ask Pres. Clinton - he`s still angry about it). In fact, without benefiting them either, but so what? You are saying that he had no momentum of his own, or principles, and it was the evil "West" that turned him into a thief. Get real. And Hamas, they were long ago corrupted by Saudi, and others`, money. But "sell out the interests of the PALs"? Puleeze. Who are you to define those interests? More of a rep. of the PALS than Abbas & Arafat together? Get it straight. Hamas has never said the 1967 border means anything to them. To them it is all Palestine (see their charter). You`re even speaking as the rep. of Hamas, but with words they`ve never said. I at least respect them enough to listen to what they say, and take it seriously. You`re just living in a fairyland of politics. |
