| The present Israeli state is certainly not the Messianic Kingdom of David, but it is as much a legitimate state as the USA, UK, France, Russia, China etc. In theory we could offer the Pascal lamb without the Temple being rebuilt, although there are complications that prevent us. We could in theory enter the Temple Mount if we had the purification rites of the red heifer etc. One can certainly dispute that `G-d gave the Temple Mount to the Muslims.` The Muslims conquered the Temple Mount and the halacha stops us from being there until the time comes. Muslims have nothing to fear, as Isaiah foretells, `And My House shall be called a House of Prayer for ALL peoples` including Christians and Muslims. |
