Last time we checked the numbers, the Israeli economy was in a deficitary (red numbers) situation, and most Israelis liked to enjoy (and why not? ) THE good life. But no country, including mine, can afford that ad infinitum. Besides, paraphrasing the poet, nowadays, no country is an island.
So, smell the roses. You may have more terrorist incidents in your milieu, but you do not have exclusivity even in that. I, and many of my friends, believe, that we have as much a right to express our love and concern for what is good, and bad, in Israel. Living there is only one factor more. Shalom, and B´hatzlajah. |
