With all due respect. The Zionist enterprise requires us all to collaborate. Do you really think Israel can stand alone without help form those of us living in the diaspora? For better or worse, our fates are linked. Jews in the diaspora get attacked (including bombed) in response to Israeli actions. We need not go through all the ways that diaspora Jews also serve as a buffer to Israeli mistakes and excesses, and provide political help in keeping Israel from being diplomatically isolated. (Remember that in pure numbers, little Israel and the smallish worldwide Jewish community are vulnerable unless they stand together -- which means dialogue and criticism going both ways). In the end, Zionism is about AM Yisrael chai, and Am Yisrael exist in both Israel and elsewhere. Otherwise, Israel is just another country and, as just another country, woe to it standing alone given the hostile sea in which it lives.
