And I thought that I`ve seen it all!!!
In any self respecting country, a self respecting politician, having seen public opinion dropping to the deep bottom, recognises
that he had faltered and bows out to give way to a possibly more talented successor. In this case these two mediocre, political and practical failures especially - Peretz, as Minister of Defence, whose only military greatness was his attacks(what a joke) on Israeli Governments, are still trying to cling to their posts by pretending to be able to "reform". And you know what? - The Israeli political scene is so divisible, that it might leave those 2 clowns to stay where they are, because there are no other visible talented uniting and strong leaders on the scene. Netaniyahu is just a demagogue, Barak is a spent force, Livni is certainly not a strong military leader, Peres is simply old and needs vacation, not an office. There are the potentials-Ayalon and Dichter, but these do not have enough of their parties support. There are the potentials-Ayalon and Dichter, but these do not have enough of their parties support. So what left? The laughable compromise: Olmert and Peretz!!
