Actually this organization of rabbis is the other side of the coin to the Islamic Movement in Israel.
The former wishes to assert the right of Jews to exercise their religious rights and beliefs on the Temple Mount; the latter wishes to assert the right of Muslims and only Muslims to exercise their religious rights and beliefs on the Temple Mount, and views any Jewish attempt as a threat to Islam.
The Jewish view is that all Gentiles can worship at the Temple Mount, and this will fulfill biblical prophecy (Isaiah 2: 2-3). |
