Haaretz has no problem supporting the eviction of Jews from Jewish land in Hebron, but great problems with Jews owning government land in Jerusalem.
Actually, what the paper supports is the diminution of "Jewish" rights to any land ownership. Jewish is not PC. Of course, when Jewish rights disappear, all rights will disappear, since eminent domain will subject all land to "government-first" rights. It is "government" in the most general terms that needs to be restrained, given its "social agenda" inclination, with a subsequent reduction in individual rights. |
