The Diary of Anne frank is an important historical document because it showed a human face of the suffering of the Holocaust.
That is what is important about the book, Joseph Stalin once said when 1 person dies it is a human tragedy, when 10 people die you can just about understand. When a 1000 people die it becomes a statistic.
When 6 million die it is unimaginable, that is why the Frank`s annex is so important, and that is why Anne Frank`s diary will be taught in schools throughout the western world. |
