| "Christian Palestinians are the most oppressed and discriminated againts among other Christian Arabs, this is despite the fact that they are the most patriotic." Do you think Atalla Hanna (Patriarch of Jerusalem) or Yasser Abd Rabbo (PA Minister) are oppressed? Ramallah is the largest Palestinian town in the WB and has the highest concentration of Palestinian Chrisitians who make up its richest residents. Do you think they are oppressed? The immigration of Palestinian Christians is due to many reasons and is NOT a new phenomena. The US has a Ramallah Club with some members who served in the US Armed Forces during the Korean war. Other members are 5th generation American citizens, if not more! Also, Chrisitans always immigrated more than Muslims because of their economic and educational achievement and because they had help from their churches. Yes, some of the most patriotic Palestinians are Chrisitans, and that can only be true because they felt equally wronged! |
