| End administrative detention. Get the schools open again. Rationalize the checkpoints and policy to focus on known threats, not just all Palestinians. Show Israel`s minority Jews, as well as Arabs and Druze and Bedouin, that they are appreciated. Hire more to responsible positions (and give credit for picking MK Whbee as deputy FM). Demand that the Waqf accept the Temple Mount be open all peaceful worshipers unofficially, BEFORE making any `final` arrangements. Demand that the PA restore Joseph`s Tomb and make it into a revenue-producing tourist attraction for the PA, open to Jews and other tourists. Make Hebron safe for tourists to the Cave of the Patriarchs, and Bethlehem for Rachel`s Tomb and it`s Churches. Demand that the PA make it safe for Jews to travel on roads in Israel AND the PA. Require PA prosecution of honor killings, and canceling the law making it a death penalty crime to sell land to Jew. Forbid extrajudicial killings of so-called collaborators. |
