| With America busy in Iraq, Olmert is lining up allies for an attack on Iran. France has agreed to supply moral support from a safe distance. The Marshall Islands will surely do likewise. Israel is trying hard to play the victim role, partly because it has proved successful to their interests in the past, and partly because they cannot convincingly play any other role. The problem is that they are one of the most powerful nations in the world and the mideasts only nuclear power. So how do they play the victim? PR and spin, that`s how. It boggles the mind that one man, Ahmadinejad, has every Israeli so afraid that their knees are shaking and they can hardly think of anything else. Additionally, peace is bad for fundraising. This is why Israel has never seriously sought peace. |
