| I find that hard to believehaving lived in Jewish areas both in NY and in Florida where everyone had nice homes and atleast 2 cars. How do they know that the people going to the soup kitchens are Jewish, is that the criteria for geting a hot meal now from a soup kitchen run by a Jewish organization? Poverty is poverty, doesn`t matter what race or religion a person is.If you compare thesize of the entire Jewish population in America to the size of the Jewish population here in Israel of course the poverty of Jews in America maybe higher, more Jews live there, besides the percentages there and here are not to far off, and Israel has nothing to be proud of either, there should be no excuse for anybody whether they are Jewish or not to go hungry in this day and age! |
