You are the best ambassadors Israel could wish for in the present situation of continuing occupation and oppression, even though other Israelis who resent you may think different.
Your efforts and sacrifices show the world that in Israel too there are decent people, who are prepared to defend the human and political rights of the Palestinian people.
How I wish that this 20th anniversary would have marked the end of the occupation and celebrated your final gathering, but I am afraid the Palestinian people will need your help and solidarity for years to come. I wish you all the best in the coming years. |
