In spite of the fact that 7 Palestinian`s "fighters" were killed yesterday (all children under 21), Israel refuses Hamas` offer of a Hudna (peace treaty).
Hamas has now slightly and quietly upped the ante, using a slightly more powerful Qassam projectile which reaches the outskirts of Ashkelon. These stronger Quassams have been in Hamas arsenal for more than 10 months. They have refused to use them, for fear of being labeled a terrorist organization and in the hope that Israel would finally agree a cease fire.
We have seen Israel`s response. Expect more of the same. |
