includes both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip? All indications are that it would not be a viable economic entity.
If that is so, why promote an idea that we know in andvance will not be able to sustain itself?
The answer therefore is for Egypt, with the support of the Arab world and international community to apply its sovereignty over the Gaza Strip.
And Jordan, with the support of the Arab world and the international community to apply its sovereignity over most of the West Bank, in coordinaiton and agreement with Israel.
The Arabs of Palestine have missed all the opportunities to set up their own state going back to 1937! It is time the international community would step in and say enough is enough and devide the territories among Egypt, Jordan and Israel. |
