It is difficult to know how to think!! Specifically, it is difficult to know how to think on so subjective a subject as race. In the USA, race matters. This is our heritage, background, history. Race has the stamp of indelibility in continental USA.
For the first time, however, the nation has the opportunity to focus on a candidate who presents a genetical irony that needs to be considered. Barak Obama`s mixed heritage represents, totally, what this nation is about: DIVERSITY. What is most appealing about his logic is that the representation of the elements of HIS diversity is complete.
Barak Obama represents, the African American genetically (his Nigerian father); historically white Amereica, his mother, and all that has been culturally absorbed from these two major influences.
