| Since real peace is not possible in the case of Israel/Palestine the politicians must make do by achieving peace talks rather than actual peace. We can see all manner of progress in the peace talks, and can even experience a "breakthrough" in the peacetalks, but it all remains talk and has nothing to do with real peace. The only likely road to peace is a calamity which threatens the very existence of the region. This is certain to come as time goes by. Such is progress. |
