Israel committed herself to removing illegal outposts, but didn`t do it thoroughly enough.
Palestinians committed themselves to confronting terrorists and terror infrastracture, but failed miserably, because they didn`t even had the slightest political will to do so. This way has failed. Bush, coming arrogantly and too late probably, lacks the rescpect he would have enjoyed if Annapolis happened in early 2001 or 2002, to stop the terrorist onslaught on Israel. Or at least in 2003 or 2004. He did the Road Map, that`s true. But then he disengaged just as Sharon disengaged from Gaza, both with disastrous results. |
