| Until Israel is ready to give up expansion and give up a large part of the west bank along with giving up much of their control over the Palestinian population, there will be no peace. Bush has come to realize this, hence some of his unusual direct criticism of Israeli expansion and his close monitor on the "peace process". Certainly there will be no peace for a long time, if ever, but at least the Americans finally know the true situation. Bush`s direct criticism of Israel has given the green light for others to remove their blinders and tell the truth about Israel. This is major progress. |
