| If no-one will step up to protect the citizens of Israel, then the citizens of Israel will move to protect themselves -- both from Arab rockets and from the collapse of democratic institutions. The Winograd committee members, academics and professionals, are not immune. If they publish a corrupt report, then they will have abdicated their authority and their *rights*, just as they have sold the rights of their fellow citizens for a little protectzia from Olmert. If we go past the end of this road, G-d forbid, it will be time for street committees and rough justice. Only the working class of Sderot dies? Blame the army? Think again, carefully. |
