Most talkbackers here seem to be convinced that Arabic is being dropped completely or even banned while the article says that it`s being dropped as a compulsory subject but presumably will still be part of the curriculum of most schools.
Perhaps it can be included even earlier at primary school level when children are most receptive to language studies. |
