| The UN is totally ineffective. Get the UN out of the US and the US out of the UN, has been the right wing motto for years, for reasons. Even No. Korea is now, like Iran, dismissing the UN as irrelevant. Saddam Hussein ignored 16 UNSC resolutions..and forced Bush`s hand. John Bolton saw through the UN`s perfidy and malaize, and was removed from his office for critical statements (all of what he said has come to true). As far as Israel`s response to the Kassams, rockets, Grads and Katys, until it gets serious about stopping them, the firings will go on and increase (Hamas has warned of an inexhaustable supply and can hide them underground). There is no shortage of men to fire them either. Israel MUST, cut the Strip in 2 or 3 parts, with tanks, etc., and/or create a killing zone within the strip, along it`s border. Sealing off the smuggling should be intensified, but Egypt is turning it`s back (accused Israel and the Jewish lobby of interferring-they didn`t). |
