Satellite images will only convince the world that there is a threat posed by Iran, if indeed there is, if the information conveyed by the new satellite are unambiguous, and Israel keeps its credibility high by conveying facts instead of propaganda. Showing aerial images from Iran that could be anything from a gas storage tank to a municipal swimming pool and claim that it is part of an Iranian nuclear weapons development site (as has been done in the past) will quickly erode support for Israeli security claims. Hyping "the Iranian threat" is exactly what has come to be expected from Israel and arouses no more passion than a yawn these days. Whatever this new satellite reveals had better be authentic as well as credible. Political manipulation of the images and data (case in point: the recent Straits of Hormuz video of the "confrontation" between the US Navy and 5 Iranian speedboats which was edited with a voiceover), if discovered, could lead to mistrust of Israeli data.
