| A return to the Rafah Fraud that Condie Rice negotiated won`t work. Why is the EU proposing this? The Rafah Fraud requires the EU, PA, Egypt and Israel agree simultaneously for the border to be open. Any one government can close it. And the US can influence its closure, too. This lead to the breech and a lot of dissatisfaction. Repeating this mistake is a definition of insanity. Aid and trade to and from Gaza should flow through Egypt and the borders with Israel should be closed. |
