| There`s not much difference today between national religious and Haredi Jews. A lot of the former are now Hardalim. The Rav Yischar Shlomo Teitchel, whose classic work "Ein Habamin Seimeichah" provided a Haredi justification for aliyah to Eretz Israel, may be considered the forerunner of the Hardal school of Judaism. Zionism helped to found the state but the tree is rotten and the state cannot survive without Judaism. This is the next phase of the Redemption. The first phase was the Zionist state. The next phase is the Jewish State - a state founded on Torah and Jewish values instead of the secular values of the Zionist era. |
