| By breaching the border Hamas has in principle invaded Egypt, which has no obligation to admit Hamas, Gazans or anyone else it does not want on Egyptian territory. Thus, Egypt has no need to negotiate with Hamas about travel demands across the border, nor will Egypt be in violation of any international laws. The same applies to Israel, since its agreements with Fatah have been annulled by Hamas`s coup. |
