| Electricity and suppliy cuts to Gaza will achieve nothing, as has been the case in the past. The only result has been to gain international support for the Palestinians and to make the Israelis look more like sadistic thugs. It`s amusing to see the usual gang of village idiots calling for the power to be cut to Gaza, to "teach them a lesson". This is a losers strategy which recently led to the breach of the border with Egypt and allowed a lot of commerce in and out of Gaza. The only intelligent strategy for Israel would be to negotiate with Hamas. This could solve a lot of problems. Perhaps Israels agenda is more attuned to expansion than to peace. Only one path can be chosen. |
