| Currently Israel is continuing west bank expansion. Any peace accord would not only end the Israeli expansion, it would also call for a significant Israeli withdrawal from the west bank. This is the fact which Israels supporters will not acknowledge, although it is quite obvious. In exchange for the expansion, Israel tolerates a haphazard qassam attack upon parts of the Negev, which have killed less than 20 people in the past eight years. Israel will take this trade off every time. Israel will only consider peace in a serious manner when the Palestinians have significantly upgraded the threat which they direct toward Israel. |
