It`s the old Lebanese story. Their army sits on their collective arses and does nothing while Hezbollah, the REAL power brokers in the south, prepare for more aggression against Israel. The next war is only a matter of time. Another 1200 dead innocent Lebanese citizens? Unless Hizbollah is neutralized, it will unfortunately happen again. The question is not if, it`s when. Shameful action, or should I say shameful inaction, on the part of Lebanon.
It`s abundantly clear Lebanon hasn`t learned it`s lessons. They will pay for it.
Neither Israel nor Lebanon want war. Israel has enough trouble with the Palestinians. And G-d knows the Lebanese don`t want to go through the horrors of 2006. Only Iran wants war between the two countries. It`s too bad Lebanon through its inactions always lets Iran get what it wants. |
