........................is that Hezbollah does not discriminate between innocent and guilty when it promises reprisals for this death and I use the word death rather than killing, assassination or murder as it may well have been none of these.
Imad Fayez Mughniyah would have been so well protected that it is doubtful anybody, unless it was one of his own bodyguards, could have put a bomb in his car. Far more likely that he was carrying a bomb to be used against anybody he considered to be an enemy and as in so many cases before it exploded prematurely. Perhaps Allah considered that the indiscriminate killing was no longer justifiable and supplied an answer in his own way.
There is a chance that the relatives of one his suicide bombers whose lives he gave up so easily decided that enough was enough and decided to resolve the matter.
Hezbollah has decided in its wisdom or lack of wisdom that somebody has to be punished for the death of somebody who took the lives of others whether or not they were guilty of a crime or not and this means they could attack the people of any country and in their own way blame Israel or America without knowing whether either is innocent or guilty. Both Israel and America are not easy targets but another nation who has not said that either of them is wrong could be attacked just because of that.
