This situation is a direct result of Palestinian terror and cynical use of ambulances. This never would have happened in 1999 before the unnecessary Intifada.
That being said, if Israel is going to act as an occupying power, they MUST provide a quick and effortless process to allow access to emergency help. The last thing a person in need does is figure out the minute details of getting to a hospital. Either publish it for everyone`s refrigerator or have full time liasons at coordination offices that can work with Pals and ambulance crews. |
