| Not that Israel ever listens to the USA; after all, it`s just Israel`s sugar-daddy and protector..... But Olmert says there will be no *new* settlements? Wow, that`s One Big Ol` Concession from Ehud, isn`t it, when you consider that the entire idea of building a separation wall makes no sense *unless* Israel was always planning to hunker down behind it and expand its existing settlements.... Why bother having any "negotiations" at all? Olmert is simply going to squat down behind the wall and say "Everything on this side is mine, mine, mine, and all we are going to discuss is how much you are going to pay me to make me let go of the rest". Which is pretty funny when you consider that everything - everything - between the Green Line and the separation wall is not his at all, and never has been. He`s just squatting on it..... |
