It is a great shame that people like this make such comments. - Almost humourous. HOWEVER, it does highlight a number of issues: 1) If he REALLY beieves this, can he be trusted to make any rational contribution to Israeli democracy. Not freedom of speech - just a question of rationality. 2) Comments like this illustrate one of the main reasons why the Religious Community in Israel has utterly failed to attract the secular majority and draw them into religious life - which really can be fulfilling. - What a lost opportunity..... Embarassed - Yes, but really rather dissappointed too.
