Israel was at odds with Arafat until he recnounced "terrorism" but even with this, Israel refused and continues to refuse to make a proper settlement with Fatah after him. As a result, Hamas was created; a hardline group that sees that peace with Israel is a farce. By the time Israel accepts to sit and negotiate with Hamas, there will be more stringent Palestinians hard liners that will make Hamas look like Mary Poppins.
Israel keeps creating more and more radical Palestinians and it only has itself to blame!! Who could take treatment like that of the people of Gaza are taking without retaliating? And what is an odd Qassam against all of what Israel is doing? Killing? pilliging? starving? etc... Get real.
I find it hard to believe Israel`s relenltess stubborness at a period of history where time is not on its side. |
