| In WW2 the Allies adopted a policy of unconditional surrender towards Germany and Japan. Although talking to them might have saved many lives, it would have left Hitler and Tojo in power but it is highly doubteful that a peaceful Europe and a democratic Japan would have ensued. Stalin who was the most evil of men, understood the evil that was Hitler and that he must be totally vanquished, whatever the cost. If we take Hamas at its word and that is the only sane approach, then it must utterly be destroyed. Ah, ifwe could only find someone to do the job for us. |
