| What makes the IDF think that an invasion can stop the rockets when it could not stop it when it had total control of the strip? The IDF will invade, kill a lot of innocent civilians, fulfill the feeling for revenge, lose world sympathy and the next day or week the rockets will continue to fall and the blame game will restart. This is the best case senario, if the IDF suffers heavy casualty in the process, a new comission will start an investigation into the adventure of the IDF, or maybe the current commision will extend its duties to include the latest debacle. Barak`s head will be the first to roll and Olmert will not have a fig leaf big enough to cover his butt. |
