The uncreative line of thinking that a full scale invasion is the only solution to this is going to lead to one thing: more loss of Israeli and Palestinian lives and a widening circle of towns and communities within rocket range as Hamas excelates its range or weaponry. A full scale invasion of Gaza will bring about a temporary halt in hostilities at best. The final result in the south will be similar to what we now have here in the north: quiet before a possible renewed storm with a bigger threat than before. A patheticly inadaquate result for an intolerably high price. The rockets must be stopped. Is anyone except Yossi Beilin going to suggest diplomacy and start talking sense? Is anyone going to be creatinve enough to suggest speaking to Hamas about a cease fire and emerge from the mold of strength will accomplish all?
