| Fire away as much as you like from your whizbang helicopters and your state-of-the-art Merkavas and the rockets will simply keep on flying. There. Is. No. Military. Solution. To. This. Problem. You are occupying their land. That land includes both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise. They want to be rid of you. You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise. Agree to a ceasefire. Allow the Palestinians to form a Unity Government, and then negotiate with Abbas as the head of that Unity Government. Make a deal. MAKE IT A GENEROUS DEAL. And if that means abandoning all of the settlements and giving up half of Jerusalem then CUT THAT DEAL AND GET THIS FINISHED. Coz that`s how you solve this problem. Coz you aren`t gonna solve it with dinky helicopters and Big Arse Merkava tanks. And you are simply deluding yourself if you think otherwise. |
