There hasn`t been a clear, standard definition of anti-Semitism yet. No particular reason to expect one imminently. There are libraries and institutes of the topic, tho.

"Protected minority" is a literal translation of "dhimma." Ask any actual Iranian Jew how it is to live in today`s Iran. It`s much the same as apartheid. Comparable to the ghetto in spirit. Result of literalist reading of Muslim law.

"Protected minority" is a reflexive comeback line. If Pfeffer is going to fall for these, he should at least know what they refer to, and have a further rebuttal in his thoughts.

The values underlying "dhimma" are much of what drives Muslim opposition to the state of Israel, also, whether from Hamas or the Wahabis.
